General Information (Residential)

Thank you for your interest in Dobam Theological College (DTC). We are delighted that you are considering joining us. NLBC aims to have a life-changing impact on its students by providing training that goes beyond classroom lectures. You can apply for our B.Th and D.Th programs immediately using the online application.

Admission Requirements:

  • B.Th (Bachelor of Theology): A 3-year program requiring a 12th pass or equivalent.
  • D.Th (Diploma in Theology): A 2-year program requiring a 10th pass or equivalent.

Application Period:
Applications for the academic year 2026-27 will be interviewed on March 24th, 2026. Late applications will be accepted until April 31, 20, with an additional fee.

Prospectus and Application Form:

  • An e-copy of the Prospectus will be sent to your registered email or whatsapp number after the payment is done.
  • Application fees: Rs. 300/- for B.Th and D.Th. Late applications incur an additional Rs. 500/- fee.
  • Required documents: Passport-size photo, transcripts, certificates, Sponsor’s Financial Commitment form, Medical Certificate and pastoral Recommendation.
  • Reference letters from referees and a letter of recommendation from the applicant’s sending church, ministry, or educational institution are required.

Entrance Examinations and Interview:

  • Mandatory for all applicants and will be held in the campus of DTC in March 2026.

Offer of Admission:

  • Applicants will be notified by early April regarding selection, accommodation, and other conditions.

Confirmation of Admission:

  • Accepted applicants must confirm their acceptance and make a 25% down payment by the specified date in April 2026. Failure to do so may result in the place being offered to another applicant on the waiting list.

Academic Year:

  • Classes for new students begin in the first week of June, preceded by registration and orientation. Returning students’ classes also start in June, beginning with the mandatory Formations Conference.
All the forms must be filled out completely and properly. In case of any discrepancy in the required documents, applicants will be rejected.
